My husband and I both found ourselves out at the mall on Saturday afternoon in need of last minute holiday party shoes for a black tie event we had that evening. Basically both of our nightmares, but also 100% our faults for leaving this shoe dilemma to the last minute. I try to avoid heading out to the mall at all costs during the month of December but did you know they have an awesome order online and curbside pickup option at Nordstrom? It is pretty clutch (if we have to head to the mall, Nordstrom is our only in and out stop!). The good news is we both found our shoes and I got my makeup done for the event all in under an hour. I snagged these in black… which are surprisingly comfortable for how tall they are and I think they look more expensive / fancier than they really are when you’re all dressed up. Perfect to pair back to your little black dress.

I’m a big fan of the lower block heels if I know I’m going to be on my feet all day and have been wearing these which are super comfy for a fun pop of red. They also come in black and nude if you’re looking for a more neutral color. Another fun festive style catching my eye: this chunky heel pump in burgundy (a similar version of the mules I have and love).
