This year’s holiday party season I think we’re all craving to go all out! I know I am looking forward to getting dressed up and pulling out some of my extra special pieces again.

Personally, for event dressing I don’t like to spend a crazy amount on a dress that I won’t wear more than a few times… so instead, a go-to option of mine is to pull out something classic from my closet, like one of my slip dresses and accessorize them in a new way. I love an unexpected heel color like lilac paired with your LBD (I always love a metallic heel or a red heel around the holidays), and a fun clutch.

Another brand that I’ve long eyed for splurge-worthy cool party attire and accessories is Paco Rabanne. I’ve always wanted to make a statement in one of their mini dresses. Their sequin bags are the perfect way to add a cool statement to a simple denim look.
And if keeping it more casual this season, I love a bold top (I’m obsessed with this feather-trim top!) with denim. A comfy yet dressy sweater with leather pants or a silk skirt and an unexpected heel in a playful color.
