I spent all of last week and this past weekend living in this longer cardigan… a recent Free People / Nordstrom find. It is pretty much perfect if you ask me. It is satisfying my urge for everything cream and white at the moment (hello March!, hello pre-spring vibes!). Is extra long and has a nice cozy weight to it. Has pockets!… and can be dressed up and down. Case in point: I wore it wine tasting with white wide-leg denim (obsessed!), threw it over a longer maxi dress for an evening out and lived in it this past weekend with boyfriend jeans and a simple white tee. I could go on…
I can always count on Nordstrom when looking for everyday pieces, and as a new mom, easy pieces like this that I can throw on over every thing are my jam. I’ve been having a lot of great luck with Free People sweaters lately. This one in particular reminded me of my favorite Isabel Marant sweater (that a lot of you always ask me about) but just longer. It’s a nice option for this transitional season and falls somewhere in-between a knit and a coat. Order your size or size down (I’m wearing an XS) as it’s oversized.
A few additional Free People styles I’m crushing on…
Speaking of wine tasting–a day trip into wine country last week was just what the doctor ordered. It was the longest I had been away from Rex and I was nervous leading up to the day but I’ll tell you what, enjoying a glass of rosé with girlfriends and celebrating the dose of spring-like weather sure was a treat! Between last week’s Sonoma outing and a recent hair color refresh (I’m going lighter and warmer with the apricot hues again)–I felt like I officially stepped out of my new mama daze back into my old self. Or rather, a newly rejuvenated, inspired, sense of confidence and excited for warm weather adventure-ing self.
The Look | Free People Cardigan. Tee (similar). Citizens of Humanity Jeans (also have my eye on these). Marc Fisher Boots. Hat (similar cool style).
We caught the golden glow of the sun setting here and these images capture that adventure seeking, carefree spirit I live for! #AllOfTheSpringFeels
Thank you to Nordstrom for supporting this post!
