If there’s one must-have that all of the It girls are wearing this season–it’s the slipper. To be specific: this pair. And as seen on Gucci’s 2017 Spring runway yesterday this obsession won’t be stopping anytime soon. Comfortable and effortless style, I’ll take it! Plus, an easy and stylish slip-on option sounds like a must new mama accessory to me (especially since I’ve given up on my heels thanks to a sore back this week).
True, the Gucci slipper has won me over, but after seeing it on almost every cool girls’ foot I’m leaning towards a few other designers as well. So who’s doing it the best, besides Gucci? My vote goes to: Tibi for their folded loafer take on the trend, Freda Salvador for a classic meets edgy style, Jenni Kayne for the color options, Robert Clergerie for that cool croc-effect, and Steven for this affordable Gucci horsebit-esque option. I’m leaning towards all-black myself but a touch of velvet (another major trend for fall), embroidered, or a bold pop of color are all fun options for those feeling a bit more adventurous. Spice up that fall style!
