A few weeks back I styled a fall runway show for Macy’s (you may have seen some behind-the-scene moments on my Instagram and Insta stories), and one of my favorite casual, everyday looks was this cozy oversized sweater paired with cargos and boots. I obviously loved the sweater so much that I bought it shortly after and have just been waiting for the weather to cool down to wear it. It’s a perfect cozy and effortless fall look.
For the show I left the sweater untucked, but that was on a stick thin 5’11” model… so with this preggo belly I’ve found it’s a bit more flattering to tuck in the sweater and show off that bump. I have to say my one complaint about pregnancy jeans is the lack of the ability to do the half-tuck! Makes for showing off that waist a bit of a challenge. So this sweet baby bump has me digging through my closet and re-evaluating what pants I have and can make work so I can do my tuck. I was excited to pull out these drop-crotch cargos (I know the look isn’t for everyone) and discover that with the lower fit I could wear them low enough on my hips to button them. Success!
And for those not pregnant and can get away with cropped styles (I’m jealous of you right now!)… I love this similar style too.
