If there’s been one dress that I’ve been pulling for when I want to get a bit more dressed up this summer (and still get away with wearing my sandals, or even bare feet!)–it’s this Dôen Handkerchief dress. I went back and forth on whether to order it in black or white as I’m such a sucker for a sweet summer white dress but ultimately black feels like the right choice to take me into fall. It’s the ideal option for any late summer weddings or just an evening out with friends. What really sold me on the dress was the high-neckline and the sweet handkerchief detailing which gives it a dreamy vintage feel.
FYI ~ the low back does makes this one tricky to wear with a regular strapless bra so you’ll need to go sans or with something like this.
On another note ~ I’ve been drying lavender (that I picked on a recent trip to Park Winters) and even made some lavender lemonade earlier this week too. Stay tuned for that one… so yum. I can’t get enough, and have the urge to plant a bunch in our yard!
