Curated: Leopard Faves for Fall from Kate Spade

Fun news!  Kate Spade has launched a playful leopard collection for fall and asked me to curate my top selects.  Um, obviously a no-brainer for this girl.  Leopard / cheetah prints always play a fun role in fall fashion but it’s still a tricky print at times.  You definitely have to be careful to find the right pieces as we all know the print can go horribly wrong.  I had fun styling my faves from the brand… and narrowed my top three selections down to this dress, blouse, and the brands’ cool sneaker collab with Keds (way comfy).

Kate Spade is hosting a week full of events to celebrate the launch of their #leopardleopardleopard collection across the US this next week… hopefully in a city near you.  And as a long time brand partner of #CITNB I’m so flattered to celebrate this leopard launch with them.  For my San Francisco friends, come join me if you’re free on Wednesday, Oct 4th at their Westfield Location on Market Street.  I’ll be there at 5pm where you can shop my curated selects, enjoy treats, nail art, temporary tattoos and more.  Should be a really fun night!  You can learn more about the event series here.

While we’re on the leopard / cheetah print topic… let’s revisit #CITNB.  Since I’m constantly asked about my blog name!

If I was to start a blog today would I call it Cheetah is the New Black?  No.  In fact, truth be told I’ve thought about changing it a number of times.  But I still do love the print and think it’s super fun to play around with.  Style is an amazing way to express your creativity and personality but should never be taken too seriously and I think leopard / cheetah prints are the perfect example of this!  A playfully bold print that is classy, sexy, cool… but most of all confident and fun.

Literally SO comfy.  I’ve been trying to mold them into a slip-on by folding the back over… Gucci-esque.

Let’s talk about this dress.  My top pick from this collection!  I’m not one to gravitate towards a full leopard print look, and especially one with a gold shimmer, but I loved it even more after trying it on.  Super flattering!  I love it styled with a wrap belt and boots and think it’s perfect for the upcoming season!
