Cozy January Essentials

So you know I’m all about a slow start to January. The mornings have been extra foggy and thus I’m living in all of the layers and cozy pieces I own. I wanted to share a few of my cold-weather / lounge-around-the-house essentials this time of year. New and old favorites for you. I’m also looking to add some new workout gear in the mix (an area of my wardrobe that is seriously lacking–oh, hey old hole-y tees I’ve had for years).

First off, I’m so excited to share that my partnership with Jenni Kayne has been extended for 2020 and so of course I have some new January cozy essentials to share from the brand. And you can continue using my code: ALICIA20 for 20% off.

They’ve launched a new line of Eco separates all made from recycled yarns and fabrics… super soft and at a reasonable price point.  Think the softest leggings and tees (perfect for lounging around the house in).  I will say, the oatmeal colored leggings are a bit sheer so I wouldn’t wear these out unless I was wearing a layering that covered my tush, just as an fyi.

I’m also all about this half-zip right now as another lounge-around essential.  So classic and reminds me of my mom.  I’m kinda all about embracing the mom-style.  I’ve been pairing this zip-up with Levis and my shearling mocs.  A look that Jenni Kayne herself has made feel California cool-girl.

The other JK essential I’ve been living in (and was a Xmas gift)–is this sweater coat.  I love that it can feel dressy and act as a jacket for the day but is also just super cozy.  And I’m trying my best not to wear this one around Rex and Willow, to keep it nice! So I’ve been saving it for when I go into my co-working space or for meetings.

Another cozy-lounge around brand favorite are essentials from Lou & Grey.  I recently shared my love for this sweatshirt (sweatpants here)–which are seriously SO soft.  You will love.

Oh and another fave from them… hands down you’ll want to live in this: hoodie sweater (also comes in a classic charcoal color).

I also started working out again with my trainer back in November (finally post baby) and it has felt SO good to get those muscles moving and build up my strength again. There’s nothing like new workout gear to really make you feel like up-ing your fitness game, am I right?
