When I lived in New York I wore my favorite pair of Vince leather leggings to work every day during the fall / winter months. No joke! Such a splurge but also such a closet hero for me. For starters they were dressier than jeans so I felt like I had “tried” even though it was just the most comfortable / easy uniform to slip into. But also, they really are the warmest pant option for those chilly months.
We know leather is a forever closet staple, but I’m loving that it’s having a trendy moment this season. From puffers (I’m excited to pull my old Helmut Lang one out that I got at a sample sale in NY back in the day (similar))… to pants, skirts and shirts… this is the season to pull out your leather pieces.
I have been wanting a looser fitting leather pant for years and finally tried Nanushka’s faux leather pair (this pair looks super comfy too), and I can’t tell you how buttery soft and impressed with them I am. I love the looser fit because sometimes you just don’t want a tight leather pant. They’re more comfortable and still that cool / sexy date night / evening option. I’m such a fan! So much so that I’m wishlisting Nanushka’s leather skirt.
