A Few Things I’m Excited About…

Happy Friday! First off, I want to share that I’ve had so much fun jumping full steam back into blogging this week. It sort of feels like I took the summer off to soak up my babies and now I’m finding my old groove again, and how much I love to write and share with you! Thank you for always sticking around.

Secondly, just a few things of note from this week and what I’m looking forward to in the coming weeks. My girlfriend Sam and I have been working full steam ahead on our holiday collection for Wrel and it really all came together this week. I’ve been mood boarding for holiday and can’t wait to bring you some sneak peeks soon. To stay-in-the-know of our official next launch date you can sign up for our newsletter here.

Wearing | Allude Striped Sweater (similar). Citizens of Humanity Denim (the Eva is a cool relaxed wide leg… but not too wide, and I sized down one size).

Well this week I was mostly just really excited about all things Wrel which has me so so giddy for the holidays!! Feels far away but I know Christmas is really going to sneak up this year. We have a mix of items that I think you’re going to love! Sam and I have designed and curated a mix of women’s, kids, home, jewelry and more. All for thoughtful gifting this year. I personally want one of everything! Oh! And if you love a really great black and cream striped cashmere sweater for the season (similar to the one I’m wearing here), Sam and I designed our first piece of womenswear and it’s my dream knit!! Black, ivory stripe and a bit oversized! Eeeek, I can’t wait to share!

Secondly, this next week is my birthday and I usually don’t celebrate in a big way but I’m milking it this year. I think if this past year taught us anything it’s to celebrate all of the things. We are going away to my happy place this weekend and then we are having a small joint bday party with my girlfriend and friends next week. I went to another party recently that had an epic grazing table of cheeses and spreads and I’m hoping I can recreate it a bit on my own. We shall see… I’ll keep you posted on the planning details if things turn out because it’s the first true party I’ve thrown in a long time.

Also for my birthday, told you I was milking this one (and it’s not even a big one ;P ), … but I’m playing hooky on my actual birthday on Monday and heading into SF with my mom and sister. I’ve been wanting to go to the new Joan Mitchell exhibit at the MOMA and they surprised me with tickets. I can’t wait for a girls day. My sister had her baby girl, Shea in August and I haven’t gotten nearly enough snuggles with her as I’ve been busy with my own two and Rex going back to school. So I’m looking forward to our first official girls outing (with Shea and Willow too!). It has me so looking forward to all of the future dates with my mom, sister and our girls!
