10 New Season Splurge-Worthy Pieces

As the new season collections are rolling, out I’m noticing that a lot of pieces catch my eye as “cute” but not for me. I’m not sure if this is the age I’m at… or my mood… but I am feeling particularly choosy about what I’m adding into my closet this season. Actually, I think it truly has everything to do with the fact that I have a clear understanding of my style at this point…the brands I love and work on me. (I wrote about rediscovering your spring style here if you’d like to read).

It either has to be a sophisticated, timeless piece (something worth the investment if I’m spending more on it) or have that excitement factor that I’m truly obsessed.

I’ve been leaning more minimal and sophisticated I’ve noticed… and the site that I always have the best luck on is Net-A-Porter for their more timeless edit. I have been so thrilled to be working with Net-A-Porter over the past few months as it’s truly the site I have shopped the most on over the years (I’m sure you know this by now!).

Here are 10 new season splurge-worthy pieces from NAP on my personal spring wish list / or that I own and love and think you’ll love too…

Dreaming of this Kiki Vargas dress… easy breezy but chic and excites me as something just a bit more special and different. I love the floral appliqué details on the shoulder, the color, the flowy silhouette and fact that it has pockets. It’s a dress I’d wear to everything from a wedding to dinner with T, to a backyard garden party with flats. Since I’m 5’1” this is also an easy style I could have hemmed.

Also, dreaming of this white Kiki Vargas dress!

I love all of my A.Emery sandals! I just got these in black for spring, and I love them so much honestly I want them in brown now. They’re super comfy, practical for mom-life / my lifestyle and have that nice balance of chic, but give a little city edge to any look. I would buy these over any designer sandal out there at the moment.

My oversized Toteme sweater has been a most worn over the past few years and I love this spring version! The wide sleeves and oversized style just make any simple denim feel cooler. Pricey, but one I know I’d live in.

I would wear this Toteme sweater with my denim, shorts, and over a dress or skirt as well. One to pack for a beach destination as it’s that perfect effortless vibe but looks chic and sophisticated.

I own the Khaite Olivia suede tote in gray and it’s one that I use often as my special occasion / evening bag. The suede is buttery soft and beautiful as Khaite bags are ~ and it just feels a bit more unique and special since I rarely see it in the wild. Love it in this mushroom color.

The other designer tote that has my attention this season is this style from Khaite. I can’t stop thinking about it in the blue (although it comes in a gorgeous brown brown too).

If you’re looking for a gorgeous date night top ~ I own the short sleeve version of this Ulla one in pink and I love the long sleeve in bronze too. My color! So beautiful. I’m always on the hunt for chic tops that elevate the look and this one is just so pretty with the subtle shimmer. One to wear with spring skirts and dressier pants or just your denim.

I’ve gotten so much use out of my studded Benny belt. Pricey for sure but it has added so much styling potential to my wardrobe (edges up any dress, is my go-to around a blazer and of course worn with jeans). I love this suede brown for spring as well as the smooth suede with the antiqued buckle.

Another great dressier top (surprisingly hard to come by) that would be a good option to pair with any slip skirt you own and style for a wedding. With the right blazer and heels this would be such a chic look!

Would go perfectly with this skirt!

Speaking of, this skirt is of course on my spring list ~ I love it so much. It’s rather versatile and just such a fun color. I plan to wear it with a simple t-shirt and sandals this spring / summer but is also one you could dress up for various occasions.

I also love this similar yellow lace skirt.

Another spring bag I love is this classic raffia style from Saint Laurent. A timeless carryall for spring / summer.

If you’re looking for a splurge-worthy dressier sandal option ~ this is a great lower heel height. So chic with everything.
