One of my all-time favorite gifts to give and receive–and is an awesome last minute idea–is a bundle of local goodies. (Also, it’s not procrastinating, it’s getting the goods as fresh as possible, hence the last minute!) I went around town today gathering some of my favorite local items, coffee from The Mill (the packaging is so beautifully illustrated by the owner, Ilah), olive oil from Cobram Estates, holiday macarons from Ginger Elizabeth, Cowgirl Creamery Mt. Tam cheese… just to name a few. It’s great to support local and I think any giftee always enjoys an assortment of local fare as well. Then of course you can put your own unique spin on how you decorate your bundle. A cute basket, wrapped in a linen tea towel, brown packaging with a simple greenery and twine are all a nice touch! If you just don’t have the time–Simone LeBlanc holiday boxes are thoughtfully curated and oh so chic!
Additional gifts and ideas on my list… that will still make it here in time for the 25th:
