For someone who has a blog titled “Cheetah is the New Black” admittedly I have let the playful pattern down in these past few years. Don’t get me wrong, I love me some cheetah and leopard print but just in smaller doses these days (and it has to be just the right print or it can get into the cheap / cheesy zone easily). Of course, leopard is a print that consistently stays in style, but this season we saw it in subtle accents on runways–just the way I like it. Easiest way to incorporate the print?– on the feet. I’m crushing hard on these Freda Salvador boots–they’re just the bold pop a simple sack of a black dress needed. Also the flat boot = key for that San Francisco hill walking (of which I’ve been doing a lot of this past week).
And just in case you thought I had the baby and didn’t tell you–because this dress hides the bump in these photos!
