A girlfriend recommended we venture over to Lodi to go wine tasting since we live so close now, and I’m always game to try new places (especially when wine is involved) so that’s where we headed this past Saturday. It was nice to switch things up a bit and experience Lodi as we tend to always find ourselves in Napa or Sonoma. We started our day with a private tour of LangeTwins (an impressively sustainable, fifth generation run family winery) and rounded out the afternoon with a bit of an indulgence (oops, might have been the wine talking) at Wine & Roses. Gelato, chocolate cake, and a bottle of rosé just seemed like the ideal way to round out the day. And it totally was.
It was warm but windy so I opted for jeans (a new fave distressed pair), boots and a chunky knit. I’ve also been grabbing for my cat-eye sunglasses the most recently… retiring my oversized frames at the moment.
“Hello!” (We got quite the kick out of talking to these two.)
His (chocolate lava cake) & Hers (gelato trio) desert.
We learned that the LangeTwins family winery also makes Caricature Wine, which I know I’ve bought before solely based on the fun label. What can I say, I’m a sucker for packaging.
