I don’t know if it’s a combination of the holidays (and this time of year) or our new house but once the weekend rolls around all I’ve been wanting to do is cozy up on the couch with my guy and never move. I succeeded to do so this past weekend–forcing myself to rest and finally get over my lingering cold. I watched two movies, hung wreaths all over our house, ate spicy udon soup and bundled up with friends to walk around the neighborhood and look at all of the Christmas lights. In the midst of all the parties and wrapping up end of the year projects–I love that this time of year forces you to go into a bit of a slow down mode. I hope you’re starting to wind down a bit too!
