My mom is my forever rock–and has continued to be so through this quarantine period. I call her daily on my neighborhood walks with Rex and Willow (if not multiple times a day) and she’s consistently that calm energy that keeps me going. Always reassuring me everything will be okay.
It breaks my heart that we won’t be together this Mother’s Day so I wanted to create something extra special to send to her. I went through my stash of older photos and my digital archive of Rex and Willow from this past year (Willow’s first birthday is right around Mother’s Day as well) and had them printed in an Artifact Uprising Layflat Photo Book. I love these photo books so much and have created a number of them now over the years to commemorate special memories and people. They’re perfect to have out on display and in this digital age I like to print my absolute favorite photos. I also find the process of creating the photo books themselves to be so sweetly reflective–looking back on those milestones, silly captured moments and carefree family times. It always puts things into perspective and is nice to take that walk down memory lane.
If you’re looking for a sweet way to celebrate the mothers in your life this year (grandmothers, mother-in-laws, friends, etc.)… photos are always a sure bet–especially in a time when we can’t be together! You can use code: ALICIA15 for 15% off any orders
And if you’re looking for additional inspiration and photo book options–or even just printing a few of your favorite photos to mail them (starts at $9).
I also have my fingers crossed that my mom and I will be able to make a mother-daughter getaway with my sister happen one day sooner rather than later. A spa day is calling my name!
