Remember when I shared photos of this amazing dream of an apartment in New York? Well, I’ve been dying to go to the newly opened LA location, and it was 100% one of my weekend highlights while down south these past couple of days (right up there with all of the bomb.com meals we ate–2016 diet say what?). If you remember, The Line is a curated collection of furniture, clothing, and accessories all showcased in a cool apartment-like setting. I think this shopping experience is pretty genius as it makes you want to live the entire Line lifestyle. I sure do. I wanted everything from the jeans hanging in the closet, to the vintage jar holding sleek black makeup brushes to, of course, all of the rugs throughout the space. And, thanks to The Line, I found a new beauty brand obsession. It’s good!
The LA location is right on Melrose Place, across the street from two of my favorite designers (you all know, Isabel Marant and Chloé)–so of course we popped in afterwards and made sure to grab coffee at Alfred. This was my guy’s first Alfred Coffee experience and he thought the people watching was pretty hilariously “LA” stereotypical. Because you guys, let’s be honest it is. (Coming from Northern California I sometimes feel like we totally stick out in LA.) Anyway, I give you The Line! I promise it’s a must-visit next time you’re in that area.
