Earlier this summer I was flown down to LA for a secret video shoot with HP. It was unlike any other shoot I’ve been a part of as they didn’t provide us with very many details (besides where to show up and to bring a few outfit options)–so for someone who is pretty camera / video shy this made for a nerve-racking flight. Why so mysterious? Come to find out, I was part of a select group chosen to experience HP’s new (ultra-sexy I might add!) laptop: the Spectre.
After a slew of random questions from the director, Tatia Pilieva, (some slightly awkward, which made me think where is she going with this?) the Spectre was unveiled. The film crew caught all of our candid reactions live and well, you’ll just have to watch the video below to see how Tatia brought this interview-style filming to life! Besides the excitement of a new laptop the highlight of the trip was getting to work with and watch Tatia in action (she worked with Beyonce on Lemonade, and created this cute first kiss video which you may have seen as it quickly went viral).
Over the past few months I’ve been using and loving my new laptop. As a Macbook lover I was skeptical about going back to a PC after so many years but I can honestly say the Spectre has won me over. Aesthetically, the dark charcoal and rose gold color scheme couldn’t be cooler. It’s ultra-thin and small size make it easy to pack around and most importantly, it’s got everything I need to work efficiently when on-the go.
I have a couple more projects in the works with HP over the next few months that I’m looking forward to bringing to life and sharing with you here so stay tuned!
