A month or so ago I coaxed my guy into helping me carry a bunch of quartz home with us that I found while hiking. He’s awesome and went along with it although he didn’t understand why I needed them (and honestly I didn’t know what I would do with them at the time but I pretended like I had a plan). So we brought them home, cleaned them up, and displayed them in a glass jar for a while in our kitchen (and then later on our side table as you can see here). I went through a rock collecting phase back in the day and have always thought geodes and crystals were cool but it wasn’t until I read about the energy that various natural rocks can bring to a room that I decided to move them onto our coffee table for a more prominent display (you may remember this scene from a few weeks back).
I can never get enough of an all-white flower and candle scene however now I’m especially into the addition of the quartz for that earthy vibe.
So like beach people display sea shells I guess this means my guy and I are country kids who showcase our rocks (and um, antlers too).
