If there ever was a time to pamper yourself it’s after a long flight. My sister and I were stuck at JFK when Jonas was rolling into the city but made it out just in time. We rolled into SFO at 2:30am on Friday night and I couldn’t wait to hit that pillow. After a sleepless night I can’t think of a better first stop in the morning then meeting your mom for brunch and a spa date. I have been wanting to book an appointment at Parlor for sometime now after spotting it while walking down Polk Street, and what better excuse than when your mama is in town?
Side Note: Polk is getting cooler guys! Since Russian Hill was my old stomping grounds, whenever I’m in the city I still typically hang on Polk with my sister. I’ll have to share more of my Polk Street favorites soon–if you’re interested?–but back to Parlor, this cool little spa is such a great addition to the neighborhood. I only wish it was here when I lived nearby.
This adorable mini spa offers a chic retreat for that polish touch up, afterwork massage, waxing and facials. It’s one of those spots that’s so cute you’ll want to share the experience with a girlfriend–and such a gem that you’ll make it you’re regular pampering spot. After a hectic and exhausting week I think we can all agree there’s no better feeling than a pedicure (and that foot massage!).
The Nail Bar.
I love the masculine design and decor touches.
