4+ years later and I thought she could use a bit of a refresher. I’m calling it a Cheetah-lift! (Yeah I’m corny.) Seriously though, thank you for all of the tweets and messages this week and for your patience while I continue to work out some of the kinks and learn this whole WordPress thing. Taking the time to really think about a new feel for this site was an interesting process but Celia really nailed my vibe. [Insert fist pump emoji here (which is my favorite emoji by the way)] Major, major props to her and Phil, and thank you for dealing with *all* of my crazy emails.
It’s kind of crazy the times this site and I have shared. In a way I feel like we’ve grown up together over these past few years. I’ve learned so much about myself and this industry and have had some amazing opportunities. But if I’m being completely honest, this past year was a rough one for Cheetah and I. At one point I thought about calling it quits as I was stressed, exhausted and yet happy outside of this online world. Thankfully my guy and a bunch of close girlfriends encouraged me not too, and boy am I happy they did. Now, after a re-energizing past couple of months–a month spent in Europe with my sister and some good ol’ California-laid-back-chillaxing–I am completely re-inspired to dive back in and put those creative juices of mine to work. Here we go 2014!
So what’s going to change around here? More lifestyle content and more features outside of the typical style and beauty posts. I guess this is me getting older, but I’m excited about media consoles, chairs, and rugs these days (you too? maybe?). I’m excited to feature local designers, my favorite spots, and to really show off my Northern California pride.
Lastly, and I can only hope that I come across as sincere and genuine as I am, when I say that I am incredibly grateful you continue to click back over to this little corner of the interwebs because without your support CITNB wouldn’t be what it is today. Now enough of this sentimental stuff already… happy Friday and back to regular programming next week! Promise.
