Now that we’ve hit November and I’m just weeks away from my due date, the nesting mode and surge of energy to get things done has kicked into high gear. My doctor thinks baby boy might come on the early side which is exciting! (you never know though)–so this really has me checking off those to-do lists and asking my girlfriends for advice. I’ve also been cooking up a storm in the kitchen–lots of soups and muffin baking. Tis the season! You may remember this was my first clue that I was preggers… so maybe this is also a sign that he’s on his way?
I had been trying to avoid collecting too much of the baby gear until he is here and I can figure out what will work best for us, but as I get down to the end I have been caving and picking up some of those items my girlfriends swear by. Like the My Brest Friend? Really tried to avoid this one but apparently it’s a must. And oh yeah, diapers. Those would be helpful to have on hand. Any other musts that you think I need?
Like so many people I know, we use Amazon.com to order the everyday items we need in a hurry. Since we’re Prime members it’s just so convenient to be able to place an order and have those items here within the next day. From paper towels, cleaning supplies, books, and now baby gear–we’re big Amazon fans over here. In fact, lately our house has felt a bit like a daily Amazon Christmas delivery as I’m reminded of additional items I might need for baby or postpartum.
American Express has teamed up with my trusty friend Amazon to bring additional perks to your order. Now, Blue Cash Everyday Card Members will get 10% back on all Amazon purchases within the first 6 months of membership, up to $200, whenever they use their cards. To qualify, sign up for the Blue Cash Everyday card between now and January 11, 2017.
The bonus about ordering all of these items on Amazon as opposed to running around town to get them this late in the game is that I have more time to do the things I actually want to be doing right now. Resting up, long walks, a yoga class, cooking, and making pretty florals to place around the house.
Thanks for adding epic to my everyday and collaborating on this post, American Express!
