Jenni Kayne Lake House -- Lake Arrowhead

Jenni Kayne Lake House

If there’s one weekend read to dive into it’s pouring over the Jenni Kayne Lake Arrowhead house remodel (that is if you haven’t already).  Their team worked tirelessly on the remodel over this summer and it’s, as you would imagine, stunning!  The house is located on a hill overlooking the lake with gorgeous views of the water from almost every room in the home.  It’s very JK in that it’s light-filled and airy, minimal in color palette, and perfectly styled with unique found gems and of course Jenni Kayne home pieces throughout.  The team held a “Camp Kayne” day for a group of us last week and it was just the relaxing mid-week rejuvenation this mama had been needing.  I actually originally rsvp’d that I couldn’t go / make it work with Willow, but my nanny and mom encouraged me, and I’m SO glad I went.  I got to see my girlfriend Sam who writes the blog Could I Have That?, and it was one of those days that filled me up on every level–creatively, friends, mountain air, delicious and healthy meals… the list goes on.

Here are a few snaps from my day there–but you really should watch this video for a full tour of the home.

Walking in, the house is instantly calming, and has that Jenni Kayne feel throughout.  After meeting Jenni a couple summers back now and getting the chance to go to her Tahoe home, I can honestly say how down-to-earth, warm, inviting and lovely she is (along with her team)–which is exuded in the feel and thoughtful touches throughout this Lake Arrowhead home.  It’s one of those homes that you instantly feel like you could curl up on the couch and you just don’t want to leave.

As I’ve mentioned, I’m thrilled to be working with the Jenni Kayne team this fall / winter season–a brand that is such a perfect fit for me and represents all of the things I love.  (Remember I have that code for you! Alicia20 for 20% off).

The laundry room / mudroom had the cutest pale green sink!  It also gave me a serious urge to go home and clean out my laundry room in hopes of getting it to a better place.

Afternoon activities included: natural dyeing and beaded bracelet making while we sipped rose and snacked on the most beautiful crudité platter.

Thank you so much to the Jenni Kayne team for such a fun mountain-day getaway!
