Home Coffee Bar Prep

Back in early November when my doctor thought baby boy would show up on the early side I went into crazy organizing mode to not only get the place ready for Rex’s arrival but for all of the guests who would be coming to visit.  As a caffeine loving family I had been meaning to set up a permanent coffee spot on our bar and finally got all the necessities together.  I filled a mud cloth tray with a variety of Nespresso holiday flavors to try, spoons, and cups for serving.  My Dad became obsessed with the morning latte’s I served up when my fam was here so much so that he ran out to buy a Nespresso machine for himself the very next day.  (And he’s now teaching me how to perfect my morning latte.)

Something for everyone |  As a soy / almond milk gal myself I made sure to have a variety of milk preferences in the frig and frothed up both regular milk and almond for everyone to try.  And besides Nespresso capsules I also have a stash of Temple coffee (our local favorite!) and teas as my mom always prefers tea over coffee.

And of course, a well stocked bar this time of year is also a must.  Since snapping these pics ours is now overly filled with scotch and wine.
