As someone who loves sending and receiving handmade notes, Valentine’s Day is always an ideal excuse to sit down with a glass of bubbly and make something pretty for those loved ones. I’ve been making collaged Valentine’s (or any occasion cards) since college. It’s always been relaxing for me and a fun creative way to unwind (which later turned into pinning, tumbling, and blogging!). We had a houseful of friends this past weekend–which was the best–so us girls decided to take advantage of our time together to do something ultimately girlie while the boys played football in the yard. Our dudes drank beers while we sipped our pretty pink bubbles (a mix of champagne and Chambord Black Raspberry Liqueur) and cut out heart shaped silhouettes of Karl Lagerfeld and Cara Delevingne.
Chambord is one of my secrets for turning any glass of bubbly into something special! Add a couple berries and serve with chocolates or a rich slice of fudge cake, for the ultimate girls’ dessert party. Chambord is a bar cart necessity–plus, the bottle is so pretty that it makes for a stunning display.

Decor Tip | Spray painted pomegranates, gold accents, black candles, and a mix of soft and moody florals set the mood (all inspired by the bottle!)
