24 Hours in NYC

This last mini trip to New York was a whirlwind to say the least. I packed in as many appointments as possible in a short amount of time–including an indulgent one (priorities, wink wink!). I like to maximize my time in the city by working a little in the morning–prepping for the day and then taking off from my hotel and not returning until night. I’ve found that you waste such precious time when traveling by going back and forth from your hotel. In a city like New York when getting Uptown and across town isn’t as easy as it may sound I make sure my bag is packed and I’m prepped for the entire day. This means my beauty look needs to be as low maintenance as possible for a day on-the-go and my hair equally as fuss free. Since I prefer day two or three after washing and messy curls best on this particular day I tamed a few fly away strands and sprayed my hair with Nexxus New York Salon Care Frizz Defy Finishing Mist before running out the door. The lightweight water free formula kept my style in place all day with a natural finish.

Looking over my to-do list and schedule for the day. I’m old school and have to write everything down.
