February Love List

Every February for the past couple of years I’ve enjoyed putting together a simple love list of sorts. I know Valentine’s Day isn’t a holiday for everyone but I’m someone who loves LOVE and any excuse to celebrate it. Whether you have big plans with a partner or are keeping it low-key and setting the mood for yourself–a little self-pampering is always a good excuse. My love list in no particular order currently includes: an all-white look to get you in the spirit of spring. When the pink and red camellias start blooming in our neighborhood. All of the stories that come with Rex’s special rock collection (I’m constantly finding stones and crystals in our washing machine and around the house from his adventures). Willow’s hugs (I’ve never known a baby to hug as hard and sweetly as she does). The turmeric wellness tea at The Mill. Cozy-ing up by the fire as a family (preferably, wine glass in hand). A cabin escape and going off-the-grid for the weekend. And our family dance parties… what’s on your love list this month?  xx Alicia

More love notes not to miss:

Go-to uniform for ease and comfort: Citizens of Humanity Jumpsuit (this one is super flattering)

Something sweet to sip: Ginger Elizabeth’s Rose Hot Chocolate

Scent to wear: old fave: Jo Malone London Velvet Rose & Oud, a new obsession: Byredo Bal D’Afrique

Layer with pearls. I’m loving a delicate pearl strand layered with your gold chains as well as a statement pearl or large pearl earrings

New-to-me beauty line I’m crushing on: Surratt Beauty–and the ideal nude pink lip shade to wear everyday

Binge-worthy watch: goop Lab (also in my Netflix queue: Next in Fashion with Alexa Chung)

A look I loved from New York Fashion Week (hint, hint: Ulla Johnson)–also loved Jonathan Simkhai (yep)

A pink dress moment my girlfriend Chris turned me onto and now I can’t get it out of my mind

Wearing | Jenni Kayne Sweater + Raincoat. Citizens of Humanity Jeans (similar chic look–LOVE the clean cut).
