I made an ikebana inspired arrangement recently and loved how it turned out so much that I wanted to share it with all of you. I shared a simple tutorial here–it would be perfect for any holiday table this season. Plus if you’re having any guests over it’s one of those arrangements that will be sure to impress (and yet is so easy to make)! All you need are your favorite flowers, a flower frog, and small dish. After sharing this tutorial I discovered that one of my favorite sites for dried botanicals, vases and home finds, Bloomist, has a great selection of flower frogs and small vessels made especially for these ikebana-style arrangements. I love these round stone frogs and all of their small stone vessels especially. So unique–be sure to take a browse!
Tip: These mini arrangements are freshest that first day so I’d make them the morning of if you’re planning to display on your holiday tables.
