I was inspired to make a dried floral wreath after spotting this one and have since been on a floral drying and arranging kick. After playing around with a few variations, my favorite creations were always the most simple–a few dried blooms combined with colorful fruits of the season. They add the prettiest organic element to the table, takes all of about two minute to put together, and lasts forever (basically until you get sick of them or you might need to swap out the fruit). Since I don’t know when baby boy will be showing up, a simple dried arrangement is all the decorating I plan to do this year for the rest of this fall / Thanksgiving season.
Dry or purchase your own mixed blooms. Picking wild flowers and weeds (in my opinion) makes for the best creations!
Then get to cutting and playing around with various arrangements. Tip: style on a rustic cutting board (I picked this one up from Diani Living in Santa Barbara).
