Perhaps one of the best parts about that adorable baby stage are baby Halloween costumes?! Am I right… or am I right? This year Oeuf sent Willow the cutest pink unicorn set (they have the best costumes and assortment of separates that are great for dress-up in general). I specifically picked out the unicorn set because I knew we’d get a lot of wear out of the pink onesie post-Halloween as well. I had her all dressed and ready for a party on Sunday evening and as we were about to leave the house she started crying. (Tired cries). But Rex said: “Mama she’s crying because she wants to be a bunny.” To appease my toddler and avoid any additional tears from either one I remembered we do have a bunny beanie that was one of my favorites of Rex’s. (Also Oeuf!). As soon as I put Willow in this bunny look she was all smiles. We were dying, like Rex obviously was right. Duh, she wanted to be a bunny.
I’m so looking forward to Halloween this year and getting the chance to take Rex trick or treating at a few of our neighbor’s houses. In years past we’ve just stayed home passing out candy (even last year Rex had more fun passing out candy), but I think this will finally be his year to go knocking on the doors. Happy Halloween!
