Additional sweet ideas to include in their baskets and creative activities for toddlers::
Seeds to start their own spring garden
Natural-dye egg kit or wooden eggs for painting and creating
Create an Easter Egg Tree in your yard (Rex’s preschool teacher gave the kids the sweetest felt eggs to hang, which gave me this sweet idea–a tradition in Germany)
Along the same lines, encouraging their creativity to start a “fairyland” of sorts somewhere in your yard (various trees in our neighborhood have the cutest mini wooden creature scenes that kids have made in the stumps and I think it’s such a fun idea)
I’ve been so into baking these past couple of months and experimenting with healthier dessert options (as seen here). I still love the idea of making a pretty floral cake or healthy dessert of some sort and baking together with your toddlers.
An Easter picnic with friends (exactly how I’d like to spend the day again this year!)
Additional ideas found on a couple of my favorite sites: Jenni Kayne’s take on Easter from last year and I still haven’t gotten over that time my friend Sam planned the cutest spring picnic complete with baby bunnies and chicks!
