As mentioned, my guy and I spent this past weekend in Carmel and gosh did we luck out with some unbelievable weather! The sky was an incredible bright blue, the sun was out, and I really didn’t even need a jacket at times. It was almost hard to believe it’s the middle of December.
Carmel will always be a special place for me. My parents spend most of their anniversaries here and started bringing my sister and I along when we were little. It was also the perfect beach escape during my college years and the first stop my guy and I made along our honeymoon-road-trip. Needless to say, I love this charming beach town. When in Carmel we always start our days with a walk along the beach. Watching the surfers, happy dogs and cute families always makes me smile. Next we head up Ocean Avenue, and hit up a few of our favorites:
Breakfast/Brunch: Katy’s Place
Lunch: Forge in the Forest (sit outside)
Glass of Wine: Mission Ranch
Dinner: La Bicyclette / Casanova
Shopping: GBG* / Paloosh
