I took these rad brick suede boots (from Frēda Salvador’s latest collection) out for their first spin in the Mission last week. They’re crazy comfortable (as are all of my Frēdas) and too too cool. Literally all you need to make any casual look all the more interesting. It felt rather appropriate to wear them to kick off the month of February (I’m really into red on the feet right now).
I’m slowly picking up my momentum with the blog and projects again and it felt good to be back in San Francisco. I sure couldn’t do it without the grandparents’ support though and what’s not pictured here is my mom standing off to the side with Rex smiling and as happy as can be snuggled up with grandma! Trying to figure out how to best find balance these days but I like a little crazy in my life and Rex sure makes everything sweeter–I wouldn’t have it any other way.
A note about these jeans | I can’t get enough of this style as you can see from my repeat action in recent posts. I get easily sick of skinny jeans and these are a nice relaxed fit, straight-leg alternative. They remind me of a cross between a classic pair of Levis and my trusty Corey boyfriend jeans. Plus you know I love a good high-rise! I’ve been going back and forth about whether to get them hemmed or to keep wearing them cuffed. (PS: Since I get a lot of denim Q’s–I always size down in Citizens.)
