Day one of styling my hair is always a bit fluffy for my liking–unless my hairdresser styles it (I can never get it to look as good as her blowouts). So for me, a night’s sleep does the trick–or just running around windy San Francisco… both of which flatten out the curls a bit, giving me more of the relaxed waves look which I prefer. I shared a few quick tips about the power of day two hair here but since a few girlfriends have been asking me about the products I use to tame my naturally curly / slight frizzy hair I thought I’d share a few new Kérastase product discoveries I’m loving right now.
Kérastase Powder Bluff Dry Shampoo | This is dry shampoo smells seriously good and is the first secret weapon for adding life and volume back into my locks.
Kérastase K Elixir Ultime | I’ve mentioned my love for oils here many times, but I’ve become such a fan of hair oil since being introduced to its moisturizing powers. You can use pre-shampooing, pre-blowdrying, as a finishing spray, or my favorite: for touch-ups. I spray a few pumps into my hands and twist it through the ends of my hair giving it a dose of moisture and shine. It helps smooth any frizz.
Kérastase K V.I.P. Volume in Powder | I’ll reshape some of the waves and spritz with this finishing spray to hold the look. Also smells insanely amazing!
