January Beauty Edit

The winter months are never kind to my already dry skin.  Between holiday over-indulging and the chillier weather it seems to be a constant breakout / dry skin battle… blah!  I’ve been continuously overhauling my beauty bag opting for more and more clean beauty product swaps and wanted to share my faves (both new and old) that I can’t get enough of and have been saving my face this January.

Earth Tu Face Lotion  |  I first fell for this line after purchasing this stick (which I know I’ve mentioned on the blog previously–it’s my fave to keep in my bag).  I love testing natural lotions and this one has quickly become a fave as it smells like rose–my all-time favorite scent.

Tata Harper Moisturizer & Regenerating Cleanser  |  Tata Harper is another line I’ve been using for years now.  In the cooler months I’ve been using the regenerating cleanser (a light scrub) daily which has really helped my dry skin as well as Tata’s ultra-rich moisturizer.

My holy grail serum duo right here for ultra-moisturizing!  Both of these are definitely pricey and you may be sick of me singing their praises but really I can’t rave about these products enough.

Dr. Barbara Sturm Hyaluronic Serum  |  After cleansing my skin this is the first serum I use.  It’s really light and if I want to keep things super simple it’s sometimes the only product I put on my face for the day.  The hyaluronic molecules penetrate deep into your skin for intense hydration.  I always notice a difference when I use this serum as any fine lines and my acne scars plump right up for smoother glowing skin.

Vintner’s Daughter Active Botanical Serum  |  Following my hyaluronic serum I’ll use a face oil (and following that a moisturizer if you need it or I will mainly just use a thicker moisturizer at night).  Vintner’s Daughter Serum is another wonder serum in itself as well as it’s packed full of essential oils.  It’s ultra-rich so just a few drops is all you need for dewy skin and combating those harsh winter conditions.

Agent Nateur Deodorant  |  This is by far my favorite all-natural deodorant I’ve tried.  I must be a stinky girl because no other natural deodorants have seemed to work for me.  Even this isn’t quite as strong and by the end of the day I need to reapply–but it does work!  It goes on smooth and I especially love this particular one from Agent Nateur with a subtle hint of rose (again, you know it’s my fave scent).

Susanne Kaufmann Body Oil and Creams  |  Susanne Kaufmann is a newer fave line of mine that I just can’t get enough of.  Every single product I’ve tried is amazing!  I received a January Detox kit from the team and have been using the body oil, foot and hand creams nightly.  The hand cream is another staple I keep in my purse and in my nightstand because my hands get so dry this time of year.  Plus it smells heavenly!
