As a huge proponent of incorporating an spf into your daily beauty routine I’ve partnered with Olay on the second part of this series to chat about the importance of reapplying. No day is the same for me–I can be out on a shoot location, working from home or driving into San Francisco for meetings and CITNB related projects. But wherever I’m headed I make sure to pack a bag which includes just the necessities: one of which is always an spf (mine is my everyday moisturizer, Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream with SPF 30) for those quick touch-ups.
Starting each day with spf as the foundation of my makeup routine is key but since a morning spent working from a coffee shop can easily go from a couple of hours to all day (this is definitely the case if I run into friends) I make sure to reapply the sunscreen if I’ve been out all afternoon, or if headed back out for the evening with my guy. On the days I’m driving into San Francisco I try to remember to reapply again before heading back out of the city because the sun coming through those windows can be so harsh! These quick touch-ups also make me feel refreshed for my next appointment or more awake for my commute home.
Why I’m loving Olay’s Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream with SPF 30: it’s lightweight, fast-absorbing and non-greasy (making it the ideal first step to my morning routine). And besides providing UVA/UVB protection it also boots hydration and brightness, while working to reduce the appearance of fine lines.
