I’ve really enjoyed playing with makeup again recently after basically a year of living in just tinted spf. A bold lip, more color than my eyelids have seen in quite a while, a swipe of mascara even!––taking things up a notch! After getting some Q’s on Instagram about my favorite products I thought it might be easiest to link them all in one post. So here you have it… my simplified, what’s in my beauty bag and what I’m using and loving this month. Oldies but goodies, and a few new products as well (all clean!)… and spoiler alert just from three lines: Lilah B., Westman Atelier, and Saie Beauty. You really can’t go wrong with any product from these lines!
SPF | I wear a tinted moisturizer everyday as the first step in my makeup routine. Lately I’ve been using and highly recommend trying: Saie Beauty’s Tinted Moisturizer (Slip Tint) or their newest launch, Sunvisor. The Tinted Moisturizer gives a bit more coverage and the Sunvisor is a good dewy option if you’re not in need of coverage. Both leave my skin feeling super moisturized and glowy and are my top tinted spfs recommendations. Believe me, I’ve tried them all at this point!
Foundation | So I’m not wearing a lot of foundation these days but when I want a little extra coverage I’ve been turning to either Lilah B. Matte Crème Foundation or Westman Atelier’s Vital Skin Foundation Stick. Botha are great for buildable coverage and achieving that no-makeup, best version of yourself look that we all want. I use my fingers or brush to blend into my cheeks and cover my acne scars / any blemishes. Both are also easy to pop into your purse and take on the go. Win, win.
Blush | Also from Westman Atelier, this month I tried their blush in Chouchette. It’s the ideal subtle pink cheek! And can be used on lips and even eyelids too. All of their lip shades are so pretty––I want to try the bright pink (Poppet) next.
Bronzer | Lilah B.’s Glisten and Glow Illuminator has been my bronzer of choice for awhile. I love the subtle shimmer it gives!
Mascara | Currently using Saie Beauty’s mascara which is a great clean beauty option! Next on my wishlist to try is the mascara from Westman Atelier as I’ve recently learned it’s one of the best clean beauty mascara’s out there as far as performance and ingredients.
Eyes Pods | Westman Atelier––I love the colors of this trio. They’re creamy and I just dab on with my fingers.
Lips | I’ve been playing up my lips and my two favorite poppy lip colors are: Lilah B. b.cheeky and this Red Lip Suede palette that comes with four shades to play with. I especially love the middle Red Tomato color for the ideal bold french girl lip!
