The ex-San Franciscan in me she loves to layer (and yes even when it’s 100+ degrees out because I’m in air conditioned buildings most of the week anyway). My denim vest has proven to be the perfect light weight layering piece. I throw it on 2-3 times a week without even thinking about it. I love that it jazzes up even the most simple of looks and as an added bonus: instantly adds pockets to whatever I’m wearing. Key!
Only 2 out of the 6 of my tentative weekend plans actually happened but it was a great one. I treated my guy to a date night at Perla (you need to go!), caught up with multiple girlfriends (always makes me so happy), got a manicure next to Kristen Wiig (the perks of living in New York), and tried to stay as cool as possible.
