A Fresh Spring Mood
What I bought:
When it comes to dressing, denim is my daily uniform of choice. I don’t know how to get dressed without denim in my life… truthfully! So a fresh denim on denim look for spring was calling my name. I couldn’t love this denim jacket more (the wash is perfection, like your favorite worn in vintage jeans). Also the cropped fit and cut of this style denim jacket is one that you’ll wear and live in for years.
Denim on denim can feel tricky but this wash matches the jacket perfectly. I love the wider cut of this denim style and the pockets / high-rise fit. One that I can easily wear chasing my kids or dress up with a heeled boot for dinner.
Additional jean styles I’m into for spring:
AGOLDE’s 90s Pinch-Waste jean is a flattering high-rise straight leg. If you’re looking for a true classic denim fit, this is it. And also comes in a cropped style.
Another fave cut of mine at the moment: Citizens of Humanity’s Gaucho Vintage Wide-Leg (a great, vintage feeling blue jean wash).
The carry-all tote bag:
This DeMellier bag is an ideal carry-all size for everyday. I love it in the cream color for spring but it also comes in a gorgeous classic brown. It’s a great mid-size tote that’s big enough for all of the essentials and then some (i.e.: all of the extra kid snacks). A beautiful pebble leather bag that I think is a great option at this price-point.
