The highlight over the past few days was without a doubt our very first Christmas tree. Last year my guy was in graduate school so thanks to our flexible schedules we spent most of the month of December in California with our families and it didn’t make sense to get a tree of our own. Needless to say, this year we’re both overly excited about our miniature (3 1/2 foot) tree and thanks to my in-laws who sent us a slew of ornaments we were able to decorate it right away. Our place is looking very festive now!
Along with Christmas trees and holiday decor ’tis the season’ to begin thinking about gifts for loved ones, and perhaps our own wish-lists as well. Here are a few items currently on my mind both for myself (like the metallic tuxedo and emerald green motocross jackets below) and gifts I plan to give others (the Nars lipstick and pencil I’m currently obsessed with and Bauble Bar / Gorjana jewels).
