A classic to kick off the new year–the wear with everything striped turtleneck paired with the coolest bomber jacket from my friends at REFINED… and high-waisted denim to suck those holiday indulgences in (I promise this is the best pair for that).
I wasn’t quite ready for this holiday break to end–it felt especially long and luxurious to unplug and hang with my guy for two whole weeks–so I pulled out a glitzy pair of earrings (actually the pair I wore on my wedding night!) for a final Sunday night date. We spent the afternoon perusing a favorite consignment shop (Scout Living for those here in Sacramento) in search of furniture for our place and capped off the evening curled up on the couch watching our new favorite show: Marco Polo. Another great one from Netflix–have you seen it yet?
I’ve been living in turtlenecks this break and one of the best tricks for a quick faux-up-do, is tucking your hair inside the sweater. Makes me want to grow my hair just a little longer so this is even easier. Also, a note about this bomber jacket–I can’t get enough of it. My guy thinks it’s one of the coolest pieces I own. The furry sleeves make is such a fun and unique piece to add to my ever-growing jacket collection.
