We eat tacos and quesadillas on the regular around here so I obviously don’t need a holiday excuse to make them. But when Kelly raved about her homemade tortilla making skills I needed a tutorial asap. Turns out they’re super easy and as Kelly claimed, delicious. (My guy says it was the best taco night ever.) Now if I’m being honest with myself I know I won’t be making these every taco night like Kelly, but they’re sure easy enough to make on special occasions like Cinco de Mayo… and that doughy goodness can’t be bought at Safeway.
Mix | 3 cups flour. 1 cup water. 1 teaspoon salt. 1/3 cups vegetable oil. | Divide dough into smaller portions and roll flat
Heat and serve with your favorite toppings!
And of course, taco night isn’t taco night without salsa verde and a baby Corona.
