If the state of our apartment directly correlates to my week then I would say it’s been a great one because the place is a complete and dirty mess. It’s embarrassing actually (thank goodness our families live so far away because I think they may judge us, or at least judge me). The only small space worthy of a ‘mini moment’ photo is the mantle above our fireplace, so here you have it!
I’ve been working outside of the apartment this week and it’s been delightful to have that change of scenery. It’s always funny to me, and so true that you often want what you don’t have. When I was working a 9 to 5 job I thought working from home with a face mask on in my pj’s (totally happened yesterday morning) sounded like the best but now that I am actually living a freelance lifestyle I crave dressing up in cute business wear. So it was nice to switch up the routine and made me realize why don’t I do this more often? Truth: because then you find yourself splurging on wine with lunch which is a slippery slope to zero productivity… yet always a treat.
