Farina

My girlfriend Jessica and I talked weddings (she is engaged too!) over authentic northern Itailan cuisine at Farina last Thursday night. I was running late and therefore we lost our reservation but were fortunately able to sit at what I would call the ‘pasta bar.’ Dining at the bar turned into quite the treat as we watched the chefs make fresh pasta and focaccia bread right in front of us! Being Italian, I felt right at home, almost as if I was in my Nana’s kitchen watching her make raviolis. The portions are small and a bit on the pricey side, but the quality and flavor is well worth it. I highly recommend their award winning pesto and the cheesy focaccia bread will not disappoint.
PS: Farina is conveniently located a few blocks from Bi-rite Creamery.
You can satisfy that sweet tooth with a little after dinner ice cream 😉
